Help for those in need.  Here.  Now.

Bagged Lunch Sundays

Hunger.  Something that I can say I have never known.  Ever.  Sadly, a lot of people in this world, in this country, in this state, in this city are unable to say.  Adults and children alike don’t often know where their next meal will come from… or when!

Since May of 2018, The Inclusive Life Center Street Outreach program has provided over 1,600 meals to those in need, including homeless adults and youth.  With generous donations of supplies, we have been able to share bagged lunches, hot meals, and meals for YES homeless youth. (Youth Emergency Services.)

We now have two vans to provide transportation for people.  We are working on donations to help pay for those vehicles.  Donations, in any amount, will help us pay these vehicles off, and provide more resources directly to those in need.  Will you help?  CLICK THIS LINK TO SHARE Donations are tax deductible.

There are always opportunities for you to help.

WEDNESDAYS we could use 1-2 volunteers to drive our vans to pick people up for our Wednesday night service and meal.  We could use someone to donate and prepare food for about 25.

SUNDAYS we make 100 bagged lunches and then deliver them to those in need.  We always need donations of food (creamy peanut butter, sandwich meat, cheese, bread, snack size chips, bottled water, Capri juice pouches, granola bars.)  And it is a  blessing to have others help hand the lunches out.

“We make a living by what we get.  We make a life by what we give.”  “And no one has ever gotten poor from giving!”  Our city, our culture, our lives will be what we make of them.  One of the greatest acts of compassion we can share today is sharing compassion, help, and love to those whom we may consider the other.
