In 2014 Inclusive Life held it’s first Blessing Bag building day. With a handful of great people (adults and kids) we built 100 blessing bags containing quarters, personal care items, water, gloves, hats, socks, and snacks. Each year the event grows in the number of folks who contribute, as does the need for the bags!
In 2016, we added a clothing drive to our blessing bag day, that ended up gathering over 100 bags of clothing that took nearly 10 trips to deliver.. (We continue to offer a special thanks to: The Metropolitan Community Church, Dawn and Larry for cooking and sharing, Kelly for food and great supplies, The Big O Bears for their generosity and help, Ben Wallace for taking charge, Jean Paul and Jeff, Ma and Pa Fender, and Charlene for use of your vehicles to transport. And everyone who donated items!
This year, 2017, we are building 100 Youth Bags to be given to Youth Emergency Services (YES) for our metro area homeless youth! Our clothing drive will again benefit the Siena Francis House in Omaha, who turns no one away!
SPRING CLOTHING DRIVE-DROP OFF CLOTHING:
It ALL will be put to good use! If you have any hygiene items, we will take those too.
ALL of our clothing items benefit the Siena Francis House
